Book Your Everest Base Camp Adventure

If Everest Base Camp is your goal you will be provided with plenty of adventure for those who dare.

Everest Base Camp standing at 5,360m is where the adventure will take you, but it is the views of the majestic Mount Everest standing at 8,848m and the magnetism of the highest mountain in the world is why we go. Nepal plays host to the trek and the journey to Everest Base Camp will afford you a unique opportunity to visit Kathmandu, the Namche Bazaar and take in the culture and meet the Nepalese people.

To reach Everest Base Camp it is usually a 1 – 3 week trek starting with a flight into the tiny airstrip of Lukla.

Spend several days trekking through the homelands of the Sherpa people, among their villages and Buddhist monasteries, with views of Everest and neighbouring Ama Dablam, considered by many to be among the most beautiful mountains in Nepal. Stroll around Namche Bazaar, the bustling market town in the heart of Sherpa country and soak up the magnificent mountain scenery.

Enter the Sagarmatha National Park before reaching the Namche Bazaar, a colourful village with stunning views of the surrounding Himalayas, shops and street vendors and local cuisine to be sampled. Trekkers will enjoy a rest day here to acclimatise to the altitude and visit the Sherpa museum to take in the history of the region and mountain climbing traditions.

Trekking in the Khumbu Valley and Gokyo Ri takes you to the most dramatic and interesting parts of the Everest region, and rewards you with dramatic landscapes, beautiful views of the Gokyo Lakes, spectacular mountain views with four mountains above 8000 metres – Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu, and the tremendous view of Ngozumpa glacier.

Without doubt, the highlights of the trek are the awe-inspiring views of some of the biggest mountains in the world which unfold the further you venture into the Khumbu valley; not forgetting, of course, the personal sense of achievement in reaching the Everest Base Camp.
